Competition Terms & Conditions



The following terms and conditions apply to the WAy Ahead campaign launch competition:
  1. The competition commences 20 November 2007 and concludes at noon Australian Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday 20 February 2008 (the Promotion Period).
  2. Entry is open to Australian based meeting planners who complete the entry form at www.wayaheadinwa.com.au/competition.php during the Promotion Period.
  3. The competition is open to meeting planners who are able to bring meetings, conferences or incentive events to Western Australia.
  4. Only one entry is permitted per person and the prize is not transferable.
  5. The prize is as described in the section on this website headed "Get WAy Ahead and win a luxury trip for two to Perth".
  6. The prize must be used by 1 September 2008.
  7. The prize includes two (2) Qantas Business class tickets from the winner's nearest Qantas serviced airport to Perth, Western Australia.
  8. Accommodation is subject to availability; is valid for twelve months; cannot be transferred between IHG or Crown properties and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  9. The winner must be 25 years or older to be eligible for the hire car component of the prize. The hire car is available for five consecutive days. The hire car must be collected from and delivered back to Perth Airport.
  10. The information collected on the competition entry form will be kept by Perth Convention Bureau (PCB) and may be used for marketing purposes. It may also be disclosed to PCB members who may contact you. Should you want to view any personal information retained on you, or you require further details on PCB's privacy policy, please contact PCB's Privacy Officer on +61 8 9324 3355. Please contact PCB if you do not wish to have your details made available for marketing purposes.
  11. The winner will be randomly selected at a prize draw to be held at the Western Australian stand at 3.00pm on Wednesday 20 February 2008 at AIME at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
  12. The prize winner will be notified in writing by Perth Convention Bureau and the result will appear in The Australian newspaper on Wednesday 27 February 2008..
  13. Employees of Perth Convention Bureau and their families, and employees of participating PCB members and their families are ineligible for entry into the competition.

  15. The prize is inclusive of all taxes. The maximum prize value is A$10,457.00.
